As a nonprofit corporation, Building Warriors is committed to continuing innovative, responder-informed services and training nationwide. Our Public Safety Counselors and Peer Specialists are on a mission to provide direct services and training to support emergency responders (fire, police, ski patrol, search and rescue, EMS, dispatch), and those affected by traumatic experiences.

PEER SUPPORT CLASSES
October 26-27 2020

The first level of training available for peer supporters. The Peer Support Academy is geared toward Police, Fire, EMS,Dispatch, Ski Patrol, Search & Rescue, Military and other types of first response teams and family members. Mental Health professionals hoping to work with this population are encouraged to participate in this training. Successful Peer Support & Specialist Academy participants may go on to examination and apply for Colorado Certified Prevention Specialist designation.
