ABOUT BUILDING WARRIORS
Warriors believe in their strength of will, of purpose, of heart, and of soul.
Building Warriors is a peer run nonprofit specialty group of responder counselors and peer specialists providing direct services and training to support emergency responders, healthcare professionals, and others afflicted by traumatic experience.

Our vision is to create a system of support that preserves pride, encourages reaching out, and cultivates a warrior’s mindset with a calm, clear peace of mind, body, and heart.

Building Warriors has grown tremendously and almost entirely by word of mouth since its inception in 2016. We are governed by a Board of Directors and are comprised of clinicians, law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, military veterans, healthcare providers, volunteers, and trauma survivors. Each of us has a unique and individual connection with Emergency Responders and trauma survivors. Each individual has their own specialized mental wellness and substance use training.
On June 20, 2018 Building Warriors, Inc. became a non-profit in order to seek public support and grant funding for crisis services, therapeutic trauma and marriage retreats, and training for agencies, individuals, and their families regardless of their ability to pay. As a nonprofit corporation, we are committed to continuing innovative, responder-informed services and training nationwide, operating on the foundation of honesty and integrity first.

Our responder counselors and peer specialists are on a mission to provide direct services and training to support emergency responders, healthcare providers, and others affected by traumatic experience nationwide.
